This wonderful nature area connects Schinnen, Puth, Munstergeleen and Windraak with each other. You can find the nature garden 'Heemtuim' in the middle of this area. If you walk this path you can find several wood carvings of animals, like a sheep, hase, bee, and others. If you continue this path towards puth,you will find a Mariachapel, built in 1977. Previously there was a chapel, closer to the town centre. But due to the growth of Puth this chapel had to disappear and they builded two new chapels instead. This one and another one on the crossroad of Bernhardstraat and Eenheidstraat. The maria statue inside the chapel was given by the sisters of St. Jozef in Heerlen in 1980 after the original statue was stolen.
