I will be visiting my folks down in Venice, FL during all the Leap Day festivities and didn't want to miss out on it. I've been keeping an eye on the map to see if any events would pop up anywhere near the Venice/Sarasota area, but the closest was up in Tampa. So I decided to host my own little gathering. This will take place at Service Beach - my mom's favorite beach to visit. Come on out and watch the sun set on the 29th of February and meet up with some fellow cachers. I will rig up some sort of flag to set up at the beach, so you will know where to look for me and the event log book. Sunset for Feb 29th at Venice is at 6:30pm, so the run time for the event will be 5:45pm-6:45pm (or until the sky is dark). And let's hope for a gorgeous sunset on such a unique day!
