A nice easy park and grab cache although if you want a nice stroll it also forms part of a gentle walk around Seascale. Set up by Seascale Brownies. Once found you can sit a while and enjoy the wonderful sea views, and if its a clear day views of the Isle of Man. The site of the cache is a memorial to one of the victims of The West Cumbria Shooting of 2010. You will need your own pen.
Seascale is a plesant coastal village. Its growth mainly due to the influx of workers at the near by nuclear site in the 1950's and 60's. There is an attractive seafront with a free (donations welcome) car park, a play area, (due to be re-vamped in 2016), a pier, castle and cannon along with several place to get refreshments.
Thanks to Seascale Parish Council for their co-operation
