Are you bored with events in pubs, do you really want to be out on the hills, do you relish views? If so, how about an event with a difference? How many have been up a hill at midnight? Well, this is your chance. The location is Noon Hill, which sits 380 m above the flatlands of West Lancashire. From up here the views are great during the day, but even better at night. Looking to the north we may be able to see Lytham St Annes, Blackpool Tower, Barrow In Furness, Heysham Power Station, Preston, the M6, whilst to the south and west, there is Chorley, and the Lanashire flatlands.
The event will start at 23 45 26/02/16 , then end at 0015 27/02/16. Come prepared as it is a remote upland area, you will need waterproofs, warm clothing, proper footwear, emergency rations and a torch. An OS map, and ability to use a compass would also be an idea to prevent you getting lost. It is often windy up there, and may also be wet so come prepared.
There are a number of caches in the area, some by well known local caching legends, such as Team Microdot, LFT4eva and the renowned Magna Defender.
