Sea turtles have been around since the time of the dinosaurs. There are only seven species of them left today; leatherbacks, green, hawksbill, loggerhead, kemp's ridley, olive ridley, and flatback. They are different from turtles found on land. For one, they cannot bring their feet and heads inside of their shell for protection. They are found in oceans all over the world, mostly in warm waters. And the females will travel as far as 1400 miles to go back to where they were hatched in order to lay their eggs. They eat different things depending on their species, but they usually eat jellyfish, crabs, shrimp, sponges, snails, algae, and mollusks.
Husband of Totalnuts loves the sea turtles on Finding Nemo. Especially the father, Crush. His layed back ways are just his style. Although he isn't much of a surfer dude.
Come out and find Crush and his son Squirt. The road that they are located on is a narrow almost one vehicle road. Not much traffic along this road, but there are some houses along the way so there is the possibility of muggles. We tried not to hide them really close to a house or driveway. Just be careful.
