NOTE: The first 3 parts of the series have primarily followed the walking path. For parts 4 & 5 you will need to stray from the path.
The cache is not located at the posted coordinates.
- This is a night cache; You will need a flashlight or headlamp to find it.
- This cache is one in a 5-part series.
- The series is easiest to complete in order, and is about a half-mile walk roundtrip.
To find the cache:
- Begin at the starting coordinates.
- Use a headlamp or flashlight to locate yellow rectangular reflectors.
- The reflectors will indicate the direction you should travel.
- When you see a cluster of three reflectors, the cache is nearby within 15 feet of it.
- Once you find the cache, proceed to the starting coords for the next part in the series.
- If you reach the starting coords for the next part, you have gone too far.
NOTE: The hours for Lake Vista Park are listed on the website as "open daily 30 minutes before sunrise until 30 minutes after sunset," however the park is often open longer because there are recreational activities going on.
