Geocache Description:

A medium sized short (steep) walk and grab cache just off the City to Sea Walkway near the Tawatawa Reserve walking track.

After placing a field puzzle not far from here (which was was all about world flags) we decided we had to do a NZ Flag related cache in the same area - especially given the final stage of the NZ Flag Referendum is coming up in March.

After finding this cache, you have to vote for the flag you would like for NZ. Pick your favourite flag and sign the logbook inside that container. Given the location of this cache, with the resident rabbit population, we have added a couple of extra flags for you to choose from.

The cache itself is a 1L Sistema camouflaged container, not near any gorse.
There is a little room for small SWAG, and a couple for prizes for the FTFs.

Hope you enjoy the steep walk up, and the views you get from the walkway - be sure to keep on going to the top of the track (just a few more meters, for impressive views.

The bottom of the reserve is an off-lead dog walking area - so watch out for dogs and their deposits.

Please just sign one log-book. The FTFer signed them all, but if you all do that they will fill up. Also multiple "votes" will be invalid!
