The Winlaton War Memorial is a cross of Celtic type decorated with interlaced design with crucifix at centre. It stands on a square pedestal with sloping shoulders which rests on three plain stone steps.
The dedication is on the front of the pedestal, with the names from 1914-18 in two columns on the three sides using sans serif capitals filled with lead with the names from 1939-45 incised on the sloping shoulders..
