CheeseNibbles: GZ has been changed and therefore time for this one to go. Many thanks to all the solvers - I especially enjoyed watching everyone beavering away on the clues at the event night, with much head-scratching yet trying not to appear competitive!

Geocache Description:

A joint puzzle cache (puzzle by CheeseNibbles; cache by Erynluin) set to coincide with the 94th Sussex Meet, January 2016, hosted by Erynluin.

We hope you enjoy it!

Below are a mixture of straight and cryptic clues, with the number in brackets giving you the length of the answer.

All answers have either the word 'GEO' or 'EVENT' concealed in them (that is the letters stated consecutively somewhere in the word).

A: Jumping goats lure you remarkably (12)

5th letter

B: Strike down (8)

C: This hour, this day, this month (8)

K: Dig open hole perhaps and put aside (11)

Now convert the letters required into a number using the normal method, and then calculate the coordinates as follows:

N50 49. (B+F-K) (J-E) (G+A-C)

W000 26. (K+G-H) (C-D) L

28.1.16 - addition of an online geocheck facility. I didn't put this in for the meet as I was acting as a human version!
