For over 80 years, a California-American-Water pump house stood on this site. After being out of service for decades, and with no desire for Cal-Am nor for the city to restore and continue its upkeep, the city decided to demolish the building to prevent unauthorized entry, and possible injury or other untoward event.
On the site today is a lovely, tiny park with an old pump as its centerpiece. A new plaque describes the history, and a small cache awaits your discovery.
Enjoy the old pump, but look elsewhere for the cache -- closer to where you entered.
Please rehide as found, no easier and especially no more difficult to find. Have fun.
