Set for a budding geocachers 7th birthday... A real kiddie cache, with some fun party type swaps. It's in the vicinity of his party, a great place for a summer birthday.

Covering more than 15 Ha, the Moulamein lake is man made. Construction began in 1964, with an extension being added in 1984. It is a popular summer destination, providing boating and leisure activities such as skiing. In the cooler months, there is an abundance of birdlife including black swans, pelicans, ducks and just this year, a resident goose. In December 2008, the lake was restructured by local, volunteer residents, deepening one section by 3 meters, 230 meters long, 100 meters wide. The rest of the lake, including banks, was tidied up and Mount Moulamein was created in the middle of the lake. It holds the towns emergency water supply and is home to lots of native fish.
