Geocache Description:

Cache Name : Hang Mei Ponds

This cache is located near the Hang Mei Tsuen LTR Stop. There are two ponds located near by.

The cache is magnetic and a traditional cache. Container is large enough for a travel bug to be dropped.

The Ponds are part of the Sheung Cheung Wai Stormwater Pumping Station. The Ping Shan Heritage Trail is only a short walk from cache location as is the Ping Shan Tin Shui Wai Cultural & Leisure Centre which contains a library and indoor swimming pool.

While you are here take a moment to walk around the ponds and you can visit a small Shrine to the Earth God.  You can also try to see if you can spot the family of three white ducks that reside on the larger pond.  You will often see people fishing, as there seems to be many fish here, although I don't often see many caught fish!
