slowcoach&jetter: Had a walk up to check this morning and the container has definitely gone AWOL. This is at least the third time that this has happened, and that, together with some ongoing health issues, has lead us to reluctantly decide to archive this cache.

Geocache Description:

Nowhere Man was a track on the Beatles 1965 album "Rubber Soul" and was one of the first Beatles songs to be totally unrelated to romance or love.

This is the fourth in a series of individual caches based on the titles of Beatles songs. The title of the song will have some relevance to the location of the cache and may be the only hint apart from the coordinates which will take you close to a memorial to workers in what was once a great local (and national) industry and culture ,that is now found nowhere in this country,(hence the cache title).The cache is a small magnetic tube with only room for the log so you will need your own pen and tweezers, and is not within the immediate area of the memorial.You should be able to find parking nearby and get to the cache location with just a short walk.Please take time to read the inscription on the monument and reflect on a way of life that is now lost forever.
