Geocache Description:

A night cache based in Luscombe Woods

To locate the cache you will need a decent torch. Head torches are ideal as all the markers are at head height or above. This cache doesn't form any part of the nearby series and there are no bonus clues hidden within, I have just kept the Monkey Jungle theme going to match the other caches placed here, There is no climbing involved in this night cache!! You should allow around 60 minutes to complete the circuit, maybe more depending how you get on, there are a couple of cheeky hills to contend with too...

To get started on the night cache, Park up at the Parking way-point, face into the woods and shine your torch at head height into the trees and you will locate the first marker, if not then there is a prominent footpath into the woods, take this and you will soon pick up the reflectors.

As this cache is set in the woods the ground is uneven and boggy in places so proper footwear is advisable. The route is NOT wheel chair or buggy friendly, and young children may struggle with some of the rougher terrain so please take this into consideration when planning a visit.

The majority of the markers are close together and can be seen from the previous marker, you will find that when you are on a prominent path the markers will stop, keep going though and you will find the next ones marking junctions and turns.

It is always a good idea to have your GPS unit with you and have it turned on so it tracks your location and route, this will help to get you back on track should you become disorientated!!

Once you have found the cache, walk to the road and turn right, follow this until you arrive at your car!!

You shouldn't really need anything out of the ordinary, but spare batteries, a Jumper and a drink are always handy.

As per all my caches, alot of thought and work has gone into the setting of this Night cache, please ensure the cache is rehidden EXACTLY as you found it or better and ALL parts are replaced!!! Whilst photo's of your exploits are always welcomed please don't spoil it for others by posting photo's of cache locations or spoiler photo's (They WILL be removed!!).

The terrain rating covers the ground underfoot as it is hard going in places, YOU DO NOT NEED TO CLIMB ANYTHING ON THIS ROUTE!!!

ON THE WAY BACK TO THE CAR YOU WILL PASS A HOUSE ALONG THE LANE, PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF THE RESIDENTS WHEN IT COMES TO NOISE AND FLASHING TORCHES, ESPECIALLY DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS WHEN IT DOESN'T GET DARK UNTIL 10'OCLOCK!!!

Most importantly, have fun out there and be careful...
