This geocache is placed in honor of our family's beach house. We love coming up here and enjoying the ocean and family. Whenever we come up "the boys" will go hike down this trail to the beach. This trail leads to a nearly private beach. The trail used to have a staircase leading all the way to this secluded beach. In the recent winter storms, a large tree washed up and took the steps out. Still, a nice view and the beach can be accessed by a rope tied up if you are particularaly adventurous. Still a great little spot to get some beach pictures and enjoy the rolling surf until the steps get rebuilt.
Parking is available in a pull out along the road. Please be respectful of the neighbors and area when finding this gem. The cache is right on the trail and not on the neighboring property.
Originally contained some fun ocean stickers, log book, and pen. Should have enough room for a travelbug or geocoin or two as well. FTF gets a premade geocache complete with log book, goodies, and cammo to continue the fun.
