From the piazza of the village of Medeazza it's a 10 minute walk to this object. Cachers may however want to make a more comprehensive round-up of all the caches in the area, in which case starting from Ceroglie on the other side of Hermada by mountain bike or from Duino on foot could be a good option. One side of the stone clearly bears the name Duino (interestingly, in Italian) along with the year 1818, while the place name on the other side is Jamiano. At first I could not make out the other name, and the year looked to me like 1878, but I now agree with comment made in logs that the year is definitely 1818, so the stone has been in place for 200 years!
Dalla piazza di Medeazza si arriva dopo una camminata di circa 10 minuti. Per chi preferisce di fare la visita più comprensiva di tutte le cache della zona, la partenza da Ceroglie sull'altra parte di Ermada in mtb oppure da Duino a piedi potrebbe essere anche comodo. Su una parte del cippo si distingue chiaramente il nome di Duino (scritto in italiano) insieme con l'anno 1818, mentre il toponimo sull'altra parte meno leggibile, sembra Jamiano. Inizialmente l'anno sembrava 1878 ma adesso sono daccordo co chi ha scritto nel log che invece è 1818, e quindi il cippo sta più di 200 anni in questo bosco!
