  3. The Pennsylvania DCNR permit system has been in effect since spring of 2003, and this cache shows no evidence of having received a permit.

I am going to go out on a limb here and archive the cache without waiting to hear back from the owner. If, however, the owner desires to re-establish this cache, I will be glad to unarchive it upon receiving evidence that a permit has been issued.

Geocache Description:

Cache is in or around nice camping area in the hills of NW Pennsylvania.

The cache is medium sized and is in a capped piece of four inch CPVC pipe with a threaded lid. Keep in mind cache exchange items need to be small so they will fit.
This is our first cache so it is a very easy cache to get to. In the future we hope to put up some 5/5's. The area of this cache is a great place to spend some time and even do some camping. The only thing encrypted below is the contact information for staying in the area. Don't be afraid to do some snooping around because it needed to be out of sight because of hikers and campers in the area.
There are several ways to reach this cache. The easiest is to hike in from the parking lot off Miller Farm Road.
(Directions: Route 8 turn East on Black Road and continue to a T, turn right on Dutch Hill road which becomes Miller Farm road. After a sharp bend to the left watch for parking area with tube gate on the right.)
For much increased difficulty you can hike in from anywhere along the 36-mile trail which loops the park. Godspeed.
