A couple of my grand kids thought I should do a birdhouse cache with the three little pigs as a theme. So, in honor of grand kids everywhere this is what I came up with. I do want to thank wild ponies for finding me a great spot to place this cache and actually sacrificing two of hers to make this work, it will be the first one located in town so I am a little excited to see how it works out.
You will spot this right off when you get in the area, it is of course a birdhouse. It is also an easy field puzzle. The cache log is behind a locked door and you will have to solve the little puzzle to get the combination. To solve the puzzle you will need a tool, I have provided that for you in the house. Once you take a tool it is yours to keep, please carry it out with you. After you figure out what to do with the tool you should have the combination and you can sign the log. Afterward please put everything back the way you found it and be sure the lock is reset. There is room for small trade items and trackable's. This is a cute little place, please respect all the plant life or I will have to remove the cache. There is a bench here you can take a break and do a little traffic gazing if you need a rest. Please let me know when the tools run low and I'll place some more. Have fun!
UPDATE
Someone is taking the tools (which is a large straw) as fast as I can put them out so I am no longer supplying them. You will now have to bring your own or simply make one by rolling up a piece of paper. I am sorry for the inconvenience as I really wanted to supply everything you needed.
Again, you will have to supply your own straw or make one with a piece of paper!
