I happened to be browsing the caching map and saw the recent caches by razorbackgirl, and at the same time, I happened to hear a TV ad in the background. I had thought about this type of puzzle before, but the ideas coalesced.
I had the privilege with my wife to visit Hawaii previously, of course it was BC (Before Caching). We spent time on Maui and drove up Haleakala, took a whale watching tour out of Lahaina, and attended a luau at a nearby hotel.
We also visited Kauai and did some hiking in Waimea canyon, and traversed a little bit of the Na Pali coast trail.
On our way home, we stopped briefly in Oahu and visited the Arizona memorial.
Hopefully, someday, we'll get back there again (and this time maybe find some caches).
