     Middleton Primary School was opened on 1 September 1998 with the amalgamation of Middleton Infant and Junior Schools. Both schools enjoyed good local reputations and we have continued to build on these strengths.

      The link building was completed in January 2001 enhancing continuity throughout the school.

     At present all classes throughout Key Stages 1 and 2 have additional provision for the hearing impaired, other special needs and pre-school children.

The commitment to supporting children's learning is reflected in the high adult/pupil ratio. The school has an open aspect with plenty of green spaces and a pleasant outlook, providing designated educational and recreational facilities.
