A fairly quick cache at a location that not many people would think to go.
This Royal of the North, the Wauchope Show, is popular amongst the people of the mid north coast and turns a usually quiet town into a bustling centre for two days. But what about the rest of the 363 days of the year? Well it is the site used for the farmers market, exhibitions, and is also now a great pet friendly place to camp or park your caravan. Not many people are aware that you can stay at the showgrounds throughout the year, but it is indeed a great option for people travelling with power, dump points, and close proximity to the town centre. The cache is accessible from 8am to 9pm via either the front entrance, or the back entrance off Wade St. The grounds are open to the public between these times. The cache will be unavailable for 10 days following Easter, as this is when the show is on and I'm concerned about it being muggled. You are looking for a small round container but there is no pen. Unfortunately I couldn't find one to fit. I hope you enjoy the cache, and take a nice walk around, too! This cache has been placed at the Wauchope Show Grounds with the permission of the Director and the board. The director actually helped us place the cache! Congratulations to CATONY for FTF :)
