The goal becomes obvious upon approach. This cache is fully accessable on foot but being a mountain goat will help with the uneven rocks you must scramble over. (Boat access would be simpler but what fun would that be.) Stormy weather, windy days and rain will make this cache impossible. This is not a winter accessible cache.
This is a virtual cache. To claim this cache you must send via e-mail, the description of what is the only object protruding from the cement on the northern exposure. (To allow others the same experience please do not include this description in log notes to the cache page.) Those with the correct description will be provided with the history of this guardian, and it's former occupants. Allow 2 hours for the walk out and back. This is not a cache for small children, our 9 and 11 year olds needed minimal assistance but anyone younger may have had great trouble w/rocks.
