Geocache Description:

Original cache went missing so have placed a new cache app. 2 metres to the left of the trough. You will need a pen and tweezers.

Set in a small grassed public area this historic monument was originally located at Canniesburn Toll in 1897 under the auspices of Glasgow and West of Scotland Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. It was removed to its new location in 1973 by order of Bearsden Town Council.
