Geocache Description:

If you like nice quiet spots in the woods and long walks in the forest, then this is the cache for you.  Depending on how you approach this spot, you could have a couple of long slogs up some hills, so come with lots of energy for the hike.  You can park along Red Bridge Road or at a forest road further to the east.

You are seeking a lock-n-lock plastic container with a logbook and a pen.  If coming in the warmer months, be aware of warm weather hazards such as ticks, snakes, and itchy plants.  As always, tread lightly in our national forest--pack out what you take in and CITO if you can.  I found a few beer cans along my walk to this spot which I brought home with me...

****Geocache placed with permission of the Ava/Cassville/Willow Springs Mark Twain Forest Ranger District.  Much thanks to them for their geocaching friendly policy.****
