In 2016, Geocachers around the globe will gather together during the weeks of April 16 – 24 and September 17 – 25 to pick up trash, remove invasive species, repair trails and more.
Come out and join me on Sunday, April 17, 2016 and help clean up the geocaching game board: planet Earth. By attending this event you will earn a pretty sweet new souvenir for your Geocaching profile.

EVENT:
April 17, 2016 is Earth Day/Arbor Day at the Greenburgh Nature Center and they have a full day of activities and events planned. We will be digging and prepping a hole for a tree planting to be done by New York State Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins and afterwards some trail work and invasive species removal in their new native plant meadow.
PROVIDED:
The nature center will provide gloves, shovels, wheel barrels, pruners, etc. I will provide a large cooler with bottled water and Gatorade. I am also planning on having lunch available but I haven't worked out the details yet.
YOU BRING:
Proper clothing, comfortable shoes and a willingness to help as this would be greatly appreciated.
NOTE:
We will park and meet at the posted coordinates at 10:45AM sharp. I will be present for the entire length of the event...If you cannot or do not want to stay for the whole time of the event, it is no big deal you do not have to.
