Climbing all three peaks of Olomana is a short, but challenging hike with great 360° views. I would do any hike over and over again just for the sake of hiking, but some geocachers need a reason to climb a mountain. So for those of you who have not made the trek out to the third peak of Olomana, there is a blank log sheet waiting for your signature. Have fun. Be safe. Happy caching.
Cache is a camouflaged peanut butter jar tied to the base of a tree. Please refrain from throwing my cache at dangerous animals. Re-hide and cover well to keep the cache from being muggled please.
Aloha Olomana Hikers, Just FYI, beginning on Monday, February 29, 2016, Olomana hikers will no longer be allowed to park along Loop Road, which leads to the trailhead. Nor will people be allowed to drive up/down Loop Road to drop off/pick up hikers. Instead, hikers must park in the Maunawili residential area and walk in to the trailhead. This is an awesome hike and I hope these new parking regulations don't deter people from heading up the trail. I will update the cache page as necessary if these parking regulations change.
