Geocache Description:

This cache is number 4 of a series of 29 caches placed over approximately 29.2 miles from Pwllheli to Bangor as part of our celebrations for Leap Day, 29.2.2016.

Dyma cache rhif 4 o gyfres o 29 sydd wedi ei osod dros bellter oddeutu 29.2 milltir o Bwllheli i Fangor fel rhan o'n dathliadau ar gyfer y Diwrnod Naid, 29.2.2016.

Another quick 'Park and Grab'. Take a few minutes to admire the views. The granite quarry, Yr Eifl, opened in 1850 and is still worked today. Trefor granite is very good quality and is used to make curling stones. The quarry and its large derelict building, which was built in 1923, looks very out of place. Maybe a good location for a remake of 'Lord of the Rings'.

Un fach sydyn arall. Cymerwch yr amser i edrych ar yr olygfa. Agorwyd y chwarel gwenithfaen, yr Eifl yn 1850, ac yn dal i redeg hyd heddiw. Mae Gwenithfaen Trefor o ansawdd da, ac yn cael ei ddefnyddio i wneud meini cwrlo. Mae'r hen adeilad adfail a adeiladwyd yn 1923 yn edrych allan o le! Efallai yr allai fod yn leoliad i ail wneud Lord of the Rings!
