Geocache Description:

At the King Kalakaua Park (formerly Waikiki Gateway Park) you will find a bronze statue of the late Hawaiian King David Kalakaua. Before his death in 1891, at the young age of 54, he was known as "The Merrie Monarch" for reviving hula (Hawaiian dance). King Kalakaua and his siblings were known as the "Royal Fours" for their musical talents. He wrote the lyrics to our state song, "Hawaii Pono'i". As you geocache, please take the time to view this statue by Sculptor Sean Browne. Stealth is required in this somewhat heavy muggle area. Parking is at a nearby gas station but for customers only and limited to 15 minutes...park at your own risk.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OFF-ROADER FOR THE FTF!!!!!
