A hike along the Nashua River in Clinton, MA. Possibly the first Geo-Cache in Clinton?
Park at the dirt parking lot next to the ball field off of Water Street (N 42.25.159 / W 071.40.028.) Walk across the street and cross the bridge. Path entrance is first left after bridge. I would mark this as a way point. Follow this dirt path in and take your first left. This may be hard to see due to a bit of overgrowth. This path will take you over a set of tracks. Go directly over the tracks and back onto the path. From this point you can follow the orange arrows along the Nashua river. There are other paths in the area so I would recommend following the markers.
Most of the trail is dirt path some areas are overgrown and depending on weather may have some puddles over them. Ticks and Mosquitoes are in no shortage here even on the path so be prepared. Not a real need to bushwack, but the straight shot is always quicker (make that shorter).
Cache is about 10 to 15 feet off the trail in a clear tupperware with blue lid.
