All he showed me were the few bits of quartz shown in the photo, but he did shout us dinner at the Local that night, and he had a new suit on!
He made us take his photo away from the mines so not everyone should discover his lost mine,
but he has offered the following information if you wish to follow him.
It seems that different mines yield quite different materials.
Your task is to check out the mines at the following way points, and use this information to find Randolph's Lost Treasure.
Good Luck.
The Cache:
This area is full of old mine shafts, keep an eye on any mini-geocachers (or geo-dogs) you have with you.
The mines you need to look at are all covered with strong gratings - you can stand on them and peer down!
A good torch would be handy, but not necessary.
What you need to do is match the way point with what is in the mine. The way points run north to south along the track.
Then use those numbers in the following formula to find the final:
S36 21.9(WP1)(WP2) E146 42.4(WP3)(WP4)
Way Points:
WP1 36 21.872 146 42.471
WP2 36 21.895 146 42.468
WP3 36 21.908 146 42.463
WP4 36 21.916 146 42.460
What is in each mine: (unfortunately not in the right order, according to Randolph):
Grass = 0
Ferns = 1
Moss = 2
Blackberries = 6
Gold = (If you found this you don't really need all the other numbers!)
Don't forget the clue for Randolph's final.

Randolph has produced 10 tokens that go with his caches for any cachers who find the matching caches.
When you find the caches, PM me your address, and Randolph will post the ones you have earned out to you.
This is the only way you can get one of Randolph's tokens.
The caches that presently have tokens are: 01 Treeclimber, 02 Vampire Hunter, 04 Pirate's Treasure, 05 Shred the Trails, 09 Thirsty work, 10 Rat Hoppet, 11 Ready Aim Fire, 13 Hang Glider, 14 Winton Racer, and 15 The Final.
