In honor of the Chicago Geocachers picnic, this treasure box debuts today!
This is a normal sized cache, a large ammo box, which we believe to be well hidden. To find this cache you will need to go through increased bushwhacking as you near the hiding site. If there have been any recent rains, you could have a sloppy walk –- though finding the cache does not require wading streams or marshes or ponds.
As always … wear long pants and lots of bug repellent. We should have taken our own advice when we placed this cache!

*****Maintenance Visit: 24 September 2005 ... Paid a visit today and installed a fresh logbook ... guess we should be embarrassed to admit it, but this is the first time we returned here since placing the cache over 3 years ago ... it didn't need any attention til now. Amazing!
