This cache has been on the beautiful lakeside walk from the Wanaka Marina to the Wanaka scout den. We often walk this track and the children have many favourite spots along the way. We often stop at McKay Jetty (McKay is my maiden name and the christian name of my middle son).
The jetty is no longer used but still a great spot for pictures. This lakeside walkway extends all the way to the lake outlet many hours further along the track This part of the track is perfect for children, pushchairs and bikes.
We live here in Wanaka so will check regularly to see who has signed the log and where you are from!
