Located near the Fox Run Community in Northglenn. Cache is a short walk from a walking path/trail. No problem for young children ( 4 years old or older ).
While Fox Run would be a logical name for this cache, we've seen more coyotes in the neighborhood than foxes, hence the name. Cache is in a green ammo box, a short walk from a path. The walk may be short and fairly easy, or may be a bit more difficult if you come from the wrong side and have to cross a small creek. Took 2 readings to get coordinates, and my eTrex told me 18 feet accuracy. You shouldn't have to climb more than 5 feet of anything to get to this cache. It'll make sense when you see it.
Logical parking would be at Thornton Rec center, but that makes it over a mile roundtrip walk (though a nice one). Your best bet is to park along Fox Run Parkway at the trail crossings.
