At the posted coordinates, you will find part 1 of the cache, which is located outside of the library building and accessible at any time. Part 1 will give you a clue that leads to Part 2 of the cache located inside the library. Head inside the library to find the rest of the clues to solve the puzzle below and find the final cache! Part 1 is located in a high muggle/traffic area, so some stealth is required.
The library has limited hours and part 2 will only be accessible when the library is open. Note: This building is in active use as a library. Please be quiet and respectful of the people who are here to read and work.

Friday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Saturday: 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Sunday (September - April): 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

The clues will put together a Dewey Decimal System call number. Once you have that, off you go to find the cache!
The format of the call number is the following:
ABC.DEFG [Last Name] [Location]
For ABC: There is a plaque on the brick wall by the stairs leading to the rest rooms on the main floor to commemorate the addition of this section of the library. ABC = the last three digits of the first year + 16.
For DE: Visit the periodicals room and view the plaque above the fireplace. DE = the last two digits of the year Mr. Lyon passed and subtract 4. (Be sure to keep both digits)
For FG: Visit the second floor of the library. Turn right down the hallway. Down the hallway between the Jennings Room and the Memorial Room is a map on the wall of the United States. FG = take the last two digits of the year that the map was engraved and flip them.
For [Last Name]: The main floor of the Fairfield Public Library offers a copier, fax, scanner, computers, research materials, books, DVDs, and so much more. It also has ten study rooms available for use. Head back towards the DVDs and look for the study rooms. On the brick wall facing out from study room A, above the computer, is a plaque commemorating the 1981 library additions and alterations. What is the last name of the librarian who oversaw this renovation? (Our art gallery is also named after him!)
