What's better to do around St. Patty's Day than search for treasure in the green hills of Queen Elizabeth park? Not much. So here's a wicked event to do just that.
Please join us at the posted coordinates at 10AM on Saturday, March 19th for a gathering, an ice breaker, a hunt of temporary caches....and a prize draw!! All in all, the event should last about 2-2.5 hours. Note: The posted coordinates and some of the temporary caches will be wheelchair-accessible.
In addition, we will have an "intro to caching" group for any newbies out there - don't be shy!
Some prizes have been generously donated by Rough Draft, FindDee and Landsharkz.ca. All temporary caches used during the event will also be up for grabs in the prize draw!
While this is a FREE event, we will have a donation jar at the ready to cover the components of this geocaching event that have not been donated. Donating to this geocaching event is completely VOLUNTARY. All donations to the geocaching event will go towards it. Any money remaining after covering all event costs will either be put into the creation of another event or donated at another event that has ‘running costs’.
