Geocache Description:

This is one of a set of caches that can be done as a (sort of) circular walk around the outskirts of Stanford-Hope and Mucking and takes in a great walk through Stanford Warren. This is a walk I often take with my son and is named in his honor.

The caches are of a variety of sizes and containers. Some homemade and some purchased. Please be careful with the home made ones as they are held together mainly by a combination of superglue, sellotape and good luck. Tweezers are recommended to extract a couple of the logs.

It is recommended to do 'Truman's Walk' clockwise starting Cabborns Crescent. There is usually on street parking available in this area. Additional on street parking is available in a variety of locations around Stanford-Hope / Mucking. I thoroughly recommend a visit to Thameside Nature reserve whilst in the area.

If using the hints please try and picture the hints items in hats. Baseball hats, party hats, sombreros, any hat will do really. This will not help you locate the caches any easier but is highly recommended.

This small cache is placed on Wharf road outside the local allotments. You do not need to enter the allotments to find the cache (Although, if the gates are unlocked and you fancy like a walk around the allotments please feel free. They're a friendly bunch and it's interesting to see the various levels of industry taking place within). If you see an American looking man with bushy eyebrows this will be my Father-law Mike who owns an allotment here. Please say hello from me.
