I sometimes wonder how micro-villages like Balldale keep going...... Pub closed, maybe the Post Office is still there, but it's a very quiet little backwater - still deserving of a geocache, after my attempts to place one in the 'main' street ended up in serial muggling.....
Obviously Balldale once had a few sporting activities - footie, cricket, tennis.... now there's only a new multi-purpose building and lots of sheep grazing in the recreation grounds.....
The cache is a small container with logbook, pencil and a few coins from my travels.....keep an eye out for muggles, I want this one to last!
