Geocache Description:

Black Bison tube hanging on an Acer negundo.

The parking co-ords, are at the edge of park property. There are no signs here stating you need any passes to park or hike here.

Sounds simple right? The only hard part of this one is getting to it. There are no trails here, you wont need one anyway. There is very little shubbery or under growth. However, this is on a Floodplain. If the water is up-- Please postpone your search ( yes, even if it's a FTF oppurtunity ). Floodplains hidden truth is piles of washed / piled up debris of all types of natural and human originated debris. I took 2 different paths to and from these 2 geocaches and one had almost zero flood piles and the other had tons. These can be done via boat if you prefer. There is a boat ramp about a mile upstream ( you will pass it coming to the parking spot if coming from Cleves or Etown ) There is a park fee to use the ramp. $3.00 daily or $10.00 annually. A Hamilton County Park sticker will allow you to use the ramp and to go for Ohio's Oldest Geocache nearby.. You can hike from the boat ramp as well if you prefer. ( about a mile one way ).

The hint is a give away. To enhance your search, don't read it unless you need it. Which you shouldn't.

LostSole and I have been hiking together since November 2011. I was searching for someone who could keep up with me on the trail and he not only kept up but I had to keep up with him. He's a great guy and has taught me lots about backpacking. We both met Great Women shortly after that which completes both of us and the PLSF gang was born. His love for 5-5 caches and my love for 4.5 terrain caches has resulted in some really fun finds in the last 4 years. He is also #1 in the State of Kentucky in number of completed DT grids with 12. Mahalo for 4+ years of your friendship.
