Geocache Description:

Dover for sure! Is a series of 6 caches to highlight a few spots around the area. There are a number of beaches and walking paths between the caches, so you can choose to walk or drive.  You could choose to walk the whole way or mix n match which caches to walk to.  This could be the end or the start of the track for the series.  There is a walking track which many locals use to walk their dogs. You can also view the old brick kiln which dates back to the 1840s.

There are scenic views of the bay from all the caches.

Dover is a lovely seaside town. There are still some sea fisherman but many locals are now employed by fish farms. It's a good place to base yourself if you want to explore the far south. There are tourist attractions such as Hastings Caves and Pool, the Ida Bay railway and the Tahune Airwalk ( via Geeveston). Also access to plenty of short walks, like Duckhole Lake, Southport Lagoon, South Cape, Hartz Mt walks (via Geeveston). This summer I managed 8 walks and there are still more to do.
Please bring a pen or pencil to log the cache.
