Sometimes, when you walk through woodlands, you can detect eyes upon you, yet nobody can be seen. In the grey mist and soft rain when no other human is in sight or would believe you, you can sometimes detect faint movement in the corner of your eye. If you walk with a dog, sometimes it'll stop and stare into the trees, ears pricked. You tell yourself that it's only seen a squirrel.
But has it? Really?
Some doubt stays in your mind.
Thoughts turn to little folk, the gnomes, elves and piskies on the moor. But where would they live, if they really did exist?
