This is a great trail to go on if you are in the Northwich area as it takes you to one of the sites in the county that tells the story of salt.
The Lion Salt Works Museum is the most complete industrial monument of the salt industry.
This trail takes you around the Lion Salt Works site but there is no need to pay unless you want to go round the Museum itself. There is free parking and free access to the cafe, toilets, and playground.
