Frankfort Boat Launch Traditional Cache

The object of your search is a SMR style hide. This cache was placed in the Winter with snow covering the immediate area. A couple of logs have indicated a possible walking hazard, so please be careful!

While parked and placing "The Edith Tribute", we realize the area was large enough to accomodate another cache at this end.  This hide is much more kid-friendly as there is no need to be on shifting rocks or near the water.  We also noticed a birdhouse labelled University of Maine nearby.  This cache is NOT near the bird house.  It was apparent by the footprints in the snow that people had been checking up on the bird house.  Please replace as found and bring a pen.  We hope you enjoy this beautiful area - there is even a park bench for quiet reflection nearby.
