CITO Site is at the end of Drop Redoubt Road
Date: Sunday 17th April 2016
Time: 10.30am- 4pm
Helping to preserve areas of nature and history is great – anyone can do it, from the youngest to the oldest amongst us. If you come and get involved, it will be a day you’ll remember for a long time and it will be a great reason to come back to the fort in the months and years to come. You will be able to tell your friends and family “I helped keep a piece of our history alive”, as well as having a souvenir to display proudly on your profile for particitating in "The 14th Annual Cache In Trash Out Week."
There will be now be parking directly at the CITO site. It’s very easy to take part; come to the co-ordinates and walk up to the meeting point near the site (which is marked as the CITO event location).
Everyone’s welcome to get involved – it’s something that we should all do at least once!
We will provide everything you’ll need for a great experience – including tools and gloves if you don't have your own; just wrap up warm, wear something waterproof on your feet and bring lots of enthusiasm and good cheer! Remember to also bring along some lunch and a pen!
We will have the logbook with us at the meeting point, so please don't forget to sign it. There will also be a swappable pot for those loose TB's that need moving on.
Our Goal: As a group of geocachers, our main aim is to come together and have a fun! However this also provides us to give back to an area of nature in our lovely Kent countryside.
