Lake Hood Too Traditional Cache

This is the original entrance road to Lake Hood. After placing Lake Hood I walked to the top of the grassy knoll and realised the other entrance still had a big sign so drove down here to place a second cache.

Lake Hood is a man made lake opened in 2001 by the Right Honourable Jenny Shipley.  Plans are to make it even bigger and have more housing with canels too. A great area to visit no mater what the time of year.  Plenty of events hosted on or around the lake.
