This cache is part of new series of Leap Day 2016 hides by agate mickey. Many people enjoy collecting FTF honors and we realized that getting that FTF claim on Leap Day is a rare opportunity. With that in mind, we placed several of these to publish on Leap Day 2016. Each cache in this series has Leap somewhere in the title. Our one request is that our geo friends that go for these FTFs only claim one so that as many people as possible can get that Leap Day FTF! :-)
This 10-acre park is located on Vernon Avenue and 137th Street. This park is one of the older city parks that offer active and passive opportunities. Amenities include play equipment, hockey and pleasure rinks, warming house/shelter and ballfield. New play equipment was installed in 1996.
Savage City Parks are open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. No one is allowed in the parks before or after these hours.
