Madonna dee Prese
[EN] This country capital, situated on the bank of river Meolo, was built in the countryside between two towns which names are Meolo and Vallio. It is located in the fringe of the industrial zone and at the beginning of the highway. Maybe it was built by some boatmen who used to go back along the river, in order to bring the salt in the hinterland, or perhaps it was built in memory of the reclaim of the swamps made by the Benedictine Monks.
