Geocache Description:

This cache is number 14 of a series of 29 caches placed over approximately 29.2 miles from Pwllheli to Bangor as part of our celebrations for Leap Day, 29.2.2016.

Dyma cache rhif 14 o gyfres o 29 sydd wedi ei osod dros bellter oddeutu 29.2 milltir o Bwllheli i Fangor fel rhan o'n dathliadau ar gyfer y Diwrnod Naid, 29.2.2016.

This amazing high wall surrounds the whole of the Glynllifon Estate making sure there was no chance to see what the Lord Newboroughs and gentry were up to by local 'lower' classes. The boundary wall was rebuilt in 1836 contemporary with the erection of the present house for the 3rd Lord Newborough by the architect Edward Haycock of Shrewsbury. The wall was repaired in 1935. and is approximately 10km in length and, at its tallest, is 4m high.

Tha cache is NOT in the wall.

Mae'r wal uchel anhygoel yma yn amgylchynu ystâd Glynllifon yn gyfan gwbl i sicrhau nad oedd y werin bobl yn gallu gweld beth oedd Arglwyddi Niwbwrch a'r bonedd yn ei wneud. Cafodd y wal ei ail adeiladu yn 1836 i gyd fynd a'r tŷ newydd ar gyfer y 3ydd Arglwydd Niwbwrch gan y pensaer Edward Haycock o'r Amwythig. Cafodd y wal ei drwsio yn 1935 ac oddeutu 10km o hyd ac ar ei uchaf yn 4m uchder.

NID yw'r cache yn y wall.
