19 neat parked cars, 13 telephone poles, 2 houses, 8 trees, 7 Blue Crossed people
Although the above list may at first sound like it is a parody of the ’12 Days of Christmas’ song, this is a fairly simple puzzle and some older people may already know some of the details about it. Finding the needed correct information will probably be easier if you Google for, and watch, the 5 minute 50 second video related to the above list. After this step, where you will hear a line with a 5 digit number repeated several times, you will need to do additional Google research using that information to get the date of the incident that has a checksum of 33. Use that date in standard numerical format (MMDDYYYY) as the number you need in the calculations to get the coordinates for the cache.
All the information for the above steps to use in the coordinate equations below is readily available via Google and I hope you find it interesting. Please do not post any of the information you see or hear in your on line logs. FTF prize is a nice pair of compact binoculars.
Fake north coordinates minus M.MDD equals real north coordinates. Fake west coordinates plus Y.YYY equals real west coordinates.
