This is one of eight letterbox type geocaches that we are placing in the Story City area for the Cupid, Pizza & Letterboxes event on February 20, 2016. This one shouldn't be too difficult of a grab any time of the year. Please DO NOT remove the stamp that has been placed in the container. Watch for muggles across the street and please refrain from attempting this cache at night.
Fairview Cemetery is better known as the Story City Municipal Cemetery. It is located entirely within the town of Story City and is the primary burial ground for residents here. If you take the time to explore this place, there are several veteran's monuments in various spots around the cemetery as well as many, MANY people buried here with Norwegian ancestory, as is the case with many of the cemeteries in this part of Iowa.
