This cache was placed a short distance from the eastern end of Power's Pond Park on a cold winter's day in February. Newfoundland Power was warning residents of the province to conserve power, or rotating power outages may occur. So if the lights go out, never fear, geocaching is here. No power available to watch TV? Do a little walk to Power's Pond Park. No power available at the shopping malls? Take a few power strides into the trees instead, to find this winter friendly cache.
